Keaton is currently in his first year of a Master’s of Architecture candidacy at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia, PA. He has a Bachelor of Arts, with a concentration in mixed-media installations, from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.
The studio practice Keaton developed throughout his undergraduate career explores, in experiential volumes and dynamic surfaces, the chaotic and messy rhythms existing on the boundary between the tangible and the intangible, the human and the inhuman, the natural and the artificial, the religious and the scientific. His process, fascinated by observable dichotomies and influence determinism, activates an awareness of the complex relationships between self and environment.
Outside of studio work, Keaton spends most of his free time making pottery for Made by Zygote.
